About Chapter "D"

In 1990 a group of riders from Paragould, Arkansas called the Ridge Riders joined with Chapter D. The nickname Ridge Riders was very appropriate for Chapter D so it was adopted and has remained our nickname. The Chapter Patch to your left was drawn by Jackie James and adopted as our official Chapter Patch.

The Crowley's Ridge runs through Northeast Arkansas is why we are appropriately called the Ridge Riders. Crowley's Ridge has been named a National Scenic Byway and just happens to run right through our area. It is one of our favorite places to ride because of its scenic beauty and good motorcycle riding.

In 2009 it was decided that we need a Chapter Mascot and due to the fact that we live in Northeast Arkansas and have a large population of mosquitoes that would be our mascot. The next problem was where to find one; no problem, Arleen Webb offered her services to make the mascot. We named our mascot Skee D. Below are pictures of Skee D, our Banners with Skee D on them and our Scrapbook with Skee D. on it. All the items are the creation of Arleen Webb.

Come join in the fun as the Chapter D Ridge Riders take to the road and live the GWRRA motto: "Friends for Fun, Safety and Knowledge"
